Rising Sun Company was founded in 1983 by Bill and Marlene Sario.

Bill is a registered Civil Engineer. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1979. Marlene graduated in business from Fresno State in 1980.

Bill was working as an engineer in the construction industry when he met Marlene and knew he had to find a way to continue on in the construction industry but not have to travel as much. They decided to start their own construction company in the middle of California.

Bill left the construction company he was working with and bought from them a $50 dollar pick-up truck that he and Marlene painted grey with a red hood and Rising Sun Company was born.

Rising Sun started as a partnership then was incorporated in 1987. Bill and Marlene are sole stock holders and have worked hard to maintain a family orientated business. Their son, daughter-in-law and daughter are all members of the Rising Sun Company team.

In 1983 when Bill and Marlene started Rising Sun who could have known 25 years later a second generation would be ready to carry on their legacy.
